If there’s one thing I love almost as much as The Beatles, it’s infographics. Laura has brought these amazing Beatles infographics to my attention and they’re blowing my mind. I just love visual representations of stuff!! Excitingly, it’s just apparently sneak peak of a collaborative project called Charting the Beatles (with accompanying Flickr group, which has the much loved Hey Jude flowchart).

I was also happy to discover that most of the data thus far has come from William J. Dowlding’s book Beatlesongs, which is exciting because a) I couldn’t for the life of me remember who wrote that book, and b) I read that book religiously when I was thirteen and thus when I got Beatles Rock Band in October I was able to annoy my friends with random Beatles stats that I had memorized from this book oh so many years ago. Do I need this book? No. Am I itching to order it against my better judgement? Yes.
