Wall·E

Kinda adorable.

IMDB Plot Synopsis In the distant future, a small waste collecting robot that slowly begins to become sentient inadvertently embarks on a space journey that will ultimately decide the fate of mankind.

This movie is freaking adorable, oh my god, and it’s adorable without being too precious, either. WALL·E is like R2-D2′s less sarcastic, more naive little brother and all he wants is to hold someone’s hand! I think they did a really great job with the absence of dialogue in the first half and now I kind of wish people wouldn’t talk in movies anymore. And it was funny! Funny in spades! Funny in ways that Ratatouille completely failed to be. The animation was also tip top — Pixar’s best yet, I think, although I think it seems to go without saying that they outdo themselves every time out. Just go see it, you’ll enjoy it.

I still get weirded out when live action stuff is inserted into films like this, though. WTF is with that?
